MBIA completes MuniServices sale

MBIA Inc. has completed the sale of its MBIA MuniServices Co. to an investor group led by the management of MuniServices. The Armonk-based bond insurer established its MuniServices subsidiary in 1997. The unit sells revenue enhancement services and products to public-sector clients, including discovery, audit, collections/recovery, consulting and information services. The new company will be known as MuniServices LLC.
