Pepsi Bottling gives guidance

The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. will earn $1.90 to $1.93 this year, including an 18-cent-a-share expense due to an accounting rule and a 5-cent gain from tax law changes, the Somers-based company said this morning. The company, which earned $1.86 a share last year, said its volume of cases sold will increase 3 percent for the year ending this month. Shares of Pepsi Bottling closed at $31.65 yesterday.
