Politzer named chairman of New York Life Insurance Council

The president and chief executive of First Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. of Suffern has been elected chairman of the board of the Life Insurance Council of New York, a trade association.
Mitchell F. Politzer, who joined First Ameritas in 1999 and has 25 years of experience in insurance marketing and corporate consulting, will serve as chairman in 2007.
