IBM signs $12 million contract with shoemaker Ecco

Armonk-based IBM Corp. has won a five-year, $12 million computer support and services contract with Ecco Sko A/S, a shoemaker based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ecco has tanneries, factories and about 100 stores in 60 countries. EccoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s chief operating officer, Mikael Thinghuus, said IBMÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s expertise will improve the companyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s supply chain.
