IBM signs $12 million contract with shoemaker Ecco

Armonk-based IBM Corp. has won a five-year, $12 million computer support and services contract with Ecco Sko A/S, a shoemaker based in Copenhagen, Denmark. Ecco has tanneries, factories and about 100 stores in 60 countries. Ecco’s chief operating officer, Mikael Thinghuus, said IBM’s expertise will improve the company’s supply chain.
