REDC begins search for new president, CEO

January
31

Rockland Economic Development Corp. announced today that it has formed a search committee to begin the process of filling the shoes of outgoing President and Chief Executive Officer Holly Freedman, who resigned last week effective April 1.
REDC Chairman William Helmer will lead the search committee, which includes other REDC board members.

The president and CEO will be responsible for leading and implementing the initiatives of the 20-year-old non-profit agency, the mission of which is to attract and retain new businesses and stimulate job creation in the county, among other goals, REDC said.

Those interested should submit resumes by March 2. A job description, details of the search process and resume-submission information are posted on REDC’s Web site (www.redc.org/news/3-1.html).
