IBM gets contact with Malaysian bank

IBM Corp. of Armonk has landed a 10-year, $121 million contract to upgrade the computer systems of Affin Bank Berhad in Malaysia. IBM said the work will begin soon. Affin has 82 branches and was formed by a 2000 merger of the former Perwira Affin Bank Berhad and BSN Commercial Berhad.
