White Plains-based Haights reports loss

Haights Cross Communications Inc., a White Plains company that publishes educational materials, reported today that it lost $11.6 million during the fourth quarter of last year, a wider loss than the $9.76 million loss the company incurred in the fourth quarter of 2005. But revenues rose 6.9 percent to $54.7 million from $51.1 million, the company said.
