Gabelli fund issues shares

Gamco Investors Inc., the money management company run by Mario J. Gabelli, said the Gabelli Global Deal Fund, issued 2.5 million shares, generating $50 million. The shares were issued is conjunction with the underwriters’ overallotment option. The fund’s initial public offering took place Jan. 26 when 18.75 million shares were issued. The initial public offering and the shares issued in connection with the overallotment option generated a combined total of $25 million.
