Progenics reports lower losses

Progenics Pharmaceuticals Inc., an Eastview-based biotech research firm, reported lower losses for the fourth quarter and the year as it collected reimbursements from its research partner Wyeth.

For the fourth quarter, Progenics has a net loss of $1.71 million, or 7 cents a share, on revenue of $21.9 million. For the fourth quarter of 2005, it had a net loss of $32.7 million, or $1.34, on revenue of $2.05 million.

For fiscal 2006, Progenics had a net loss of $21.6 million, or 84 cents a share, on revenue of $69.9 million. For fiscal 2005, it had a net loss of $69.4 million, or $3.33 a share, on revenue of $9.49 million.
