National Home reports higher earnings

National Home Health Care Corp., reported today that fiscal second-quarter net income rose to $1.06 million, or 18 cents a share, in the three months ending Jan. 31.
The results compare with $891,000, or 16 cents a share, that the Scarsdale-based provider of home health care and staffing services earned during the same period a year ago.
National Home also reported patient revenue rose 7 percent to $1.8 million to $27.5 million in the quarter.
