Bed Bath & Beyond buys Buybuy Baby

Home-goods chain Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. announced today it has paid $67 million in cash to purchase Buybuy Baby, a closely held retailer of items for children aged 0-3. Buybuy Baby, based in Garden City, operates eight stores on the East Coast, including one in Scarsdale.
