April
6

A former Fordham University program manager will lead Tomorrow’s Workplace, Rockland County’s employment and training center in Spring Valley. Jennifer M. DeLeon will take over the $75,000 position of executive director on Monday. She succeeds Pamela Weisberg, who left in August for a job in the private sector. DeLeon has worked at Fordham since 1997 at the Office of Disabled Student Services, the Human Resources Department, and most recently the Office of Career Planning and Placement, where she was manager of special programs. She has lived in Rockland since 2001. Tomorrow’s Workplace has a staff of 12 and shares an additional 10 employees with other agencies. It has a budget of $1.2 million and serves about 700 people a month.
