Sales fall at Irvington’s Prestige Brands Holdings

Prestige Brands Holdings Inc., the Irvington company that markets Compound W, Little Remedies, Chloraseptic and other consumer products, said today that revenues for the quarter ended March 30 will be lower than a year ago because fewer people bought its cough and cold remedies this past season. However, full-year revenues will be higher than the previous year. Prestige is releasing its earnings report on May 9.
