White Plains attorney gets Ã¢â‚¬ËœgreenÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ award

Joel H. Sachs, senior partner with the Keane & Beane PC law firm in White Plains, has been awarded the 2007 Above the Bar Award as Westchester CountyÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s leading environmental attorney.

The newly created award was developed to recognize and honor outstanding legal work in Westchester.

Sachs and other attorneys will be recognized at event tomorrow evening at Pace Law School in White Plains.

Sachs serves as Bedford town attorney and as special counsel for Sleepy Hollow, where he is involved in the environmental review of the redevelopment of the former General Motors site.
