Pearl River-based Hudson Technologies reports Q1 profit

Hudson Technologies Inc., the Pearl River company that decontaminates refrigerating equipment, earned $283,000 during the first quarter, a $36,000 increase over $247,000 the company earned a year earlier, Hudson reported this morning.

Revenues were $8.12 million, an 18 percent increase over last year’s $6.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the company earned a penny, the same as last year.

Hudson shares closed at $1.15 a share yesterday, up less than 2 cents on the day.
