White Plains-based ITT selling its switches business

ITT Corp., the White Plains company that makes night-vision goggles for the military, said this morning it has an agreement to sell its switches business to Littlejohn & Co. LLC, a private equity firm based in Greenwich, Conn, for an undisclosed amount.
The business makes switches, interface controls and keypads for the mobile communications, computer and automotive industries.
ITT shares closed at $66.12 yesterday, up 16 cents.
