Pepsi Bottling Group elects new directors

The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., the largest manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages, held its annual meeting of shareholders today at its headquarters in Somers. The shareholders elected two new directors, Hugh F. Johnston and Javier G. Teruel. Johnston is Purchase-based PepsiCo Inc.’s executive vice president of operations. He has worked at PepsiCo for 20 years. Javier retired as vice chairman of Colgate-Palmolive Co. in April. He is also on the board of directors of Starbucks Corp.
