The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in White Plains has an agreement with Vivendi Games that allows the not-for-profit to use Crash Bandicoot, the action hero of the popular video game series, as the new national champion for the society’s School & Youth programs.
The society hopes that Crash’s popularity will help attract more students to its various youth programs. The appeal may be mutual; Vivendi Games is preparing to launch “Crash of the Titans, its latest version of the franchise, in October. More than 35 million Crash Bandicoot games have been sold worldwide since 1996.
