SBA to visit Putnam County for seminar, tours

Representatives from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s New York Regional Office will visit Putnam County Wednesday to give a seminar with the Putnam County Economic Development Corp. and lead a tour of successful small businesses in the county. The seminar is from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mahopac Public Library, third floor, 668 Route 6. It will be followed by an “SBA Success Story� visit to Kidz Country Day Care at 854 Route. 6 in Mahopac. There will also be visits to small businesses in Mahopac, Brewster and Carmel. Events are intended to promote the agency’s financial- and technical-assistance programs, the agency said.
