Westin rolls out spa program

September
17

Westin Hotels & Resorts is introducing a service that will bring the comfort of a full-service spa to its hotel rooms.

Under the program, customers can use a portable spa bed in their rooms. About 40 minutes before the massage appointment, Westin staff will deliver a spa basket holding water, a flower, a music CD and other items.

“We designed our new in-room spa experience to appeal to the growing segment of travelers who expect uncompromised luxury, but may prefer the comfort and privacy of their room over a communal spa, Sue Brush, senior vice president of Westin Hotels & Resorts, said in a written statement. “This program is also ideal for business travelers, who often have a small window of time for relaxation and pampering.

Westin, which operates 150 hotels and resorts in more than 31 countries, is owned by Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. of White Plains.
