New CFO named at Atlas Air

Jason Grant was named senior vice president and chief financial officer at Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc., a Harrison-based air cargo company.
Grant, 35, has held various managerial positions at Atlas since 2002. He most recently was senior vice president of network planning and business development.
Before joining Atlas Air, Grant was manager of financial planning and financial analysis at American Airlines.
Grant succeeds Michael L. Barna, who has announced his resignation as CFO to pursue other interests, according to a written statement from the company.Regina Milano, a company spokeswoman, said that it was “a personal decision� for Barna to resign after his strong performance in the CFO job since April 2005. William J. Flynn, president and chief executive officer of Atlas Air praised Barna for “substantial contributions in improving our internal processes and controls.�
