Dress Barn to repurchase stock

Dress Barn Inc., a Montebello-based clothing retailer, announced that its board has approved a new $100 million stock repurchase program.

The company can make share repurchases through the open market or privately negotiated transactions under the plan, the company added.

The company operates 821 dressbarn stores in 46 states and 607 maurices stores in 42 states.
