Regeneron Q3 loss at $35.8 million

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals Inc., a biopharmaceutical company in Eastview that is trying to develop drugs to treat cancer, eye diseases, inflammatory diseases and other conditions, reported this morning it lost $35.8 million, or 54 a share during the third quarter. The loss was wider than the $27.4 million, 48 cents a share, the company had in the third quarter of 2006. Revenues were up to $22.3 million from $15.6 million. The company’s shares were down 29 cents, at $19.99, in early trading.
