Atlas Air starting service to Osaka

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings Inc. of Purchase said today that its Polar Air Cargo Worldwide Inc. subsidiary will begin service into Osaka, JapanÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s Kansai International Airport from Chicago OÃ¢â‚¬â„¢Hare International Airport starting Feb. 21.

Polar will run flights five times weekly between Chicago and Osaka using B747-400 freighter equipment. The new service will also provide connections from Osaka to Shanghai, as well as connecting Osaka with PolarÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s U.S. destinations and the South American region.
