IBM lands Thai client

IBM Corp. of Armonk has landed a 10-year contract to provide information technology services to a group of Thai companies. The Minor Group, which includes Minor International, a hotel and restaurant operator, said its deal with IBM will provide it with a competitive advantage. Minor will move its key systems to an IBM data center in Thailand. Terms of the deal were not released.
