Spano urges more markets to go tobacco free

Westchester County Executive Andrew Spano said yesterday that other merchants should follow the lead of DeCicco Family Markets, which recently discontinued the sale of tobacco products at its six stores in Westchester and Rockland.

“You have taken an important step to protect the health and well-being of your customers and staff,� Spano said in a letter to John DeCicco Sr.
