Pernod Ricard USA, a Purchase-based producer of spirits and wine brands, announced that its premium brand portfolio won 47 medals at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The awards included seven double gold and seven gold medals for the company’s whiskey brands. The company also was awarded the competition’s “Best Blended Scotch” title for Chivas Regal 25 Year Old and “Best Irish Whiskey” title for Jameson Rarest Vintage Reserve.
