Starwood names division president

Denise Coll has been promoted to president of the North America division at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. of White Plains. It is the largest of Starwoodâ€™s operating divisions with more than $9 billion in annual revenue. Coll began her career in the hospitality industry as a reservation manager at the Sheraton Boston Hotel in 1977. She joined Starwood as regional vice president of operations for New England in 2004 and was promoted to senior vice president of operations for the North America division in 2005.
