Opticon Inc., an Orangeburg-based developer of barcode scanning technology, announced that it was the winner of the AT&T Wireless Developer Program Fast-Pitch Platinum Awards 2008 in the best network compatible Device category. This award recognizes new cellular network devices that are compatible on the AT&T wireless network.
