UCCs can be filed electronically at Westchester Clerk’s office

June
3

Uniform Commercial Code financing statements, often used to secure liens against co-ops, now can be filed electronically at the Westchester County Clerk’s office.
That means they can be filed any hour of the day or night, from anywhere that’s accessible via the Internet. Statutory processing fees must be paid, but there’s no fee for the use of the system.
To access the Westchester County Clerk’s UCC E-Filing System, go to http://ucc.westchesterclerk.com. The clerk’s office conventionally filed 9,500 UCCs last year.
