State awards contracts to rehab Helen Hayes Hospital

Four New York firms have been awarded contracts to renovate Unit 2A at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, the New York State Office of General Services said.
Dalmar Contractor Corp. of Rockville Center, Long Island, was the apparent low bidder, with a bid of $827,000, for construction at the site; All Bright Electric, West Nyack, with a bid of $125,900, won the contract for electrical work; Yonkers-based Empire Mechanical Services Inc. won the contract for heating and ventilation with a bid of $125,900; and S & O Construction of Pleasant Valley, Dutchess County, was awarded a contract for plumbing with a bid of $131,157, OGS said.
