“Green Businesses†from around the Lower Hudson Valley will be on display Thursday at the annual luncheon of the Westchester Putnam Workforce Investment Board at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains. The two-hour event starts at noon, and more than 100 people from economic development, business and government are expected. The luncheon will focus on how Westchester and Putnam can train the region’s work force to meet the needs of environmental-related companies.
