Verizon Wireless to host job fair

Verizon Wireless will host a job fair Sept. 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Affinia Hotel in Manhattan. The hotel at 371 Seventh Ave. and 31st St. is across the street from Penn Station.

Verizon Wireless said that it is looking for applicants to fill customer service positions in the companyâ€™s business sales, telesales and communications store teams in the New York metro area.

The company also is interested in job candidates who can speak English and Spanish to serve the regionâ€™s surging Hispanic population. For more information, visit the companyâ€™s website at www.verizonwireless.com/careers.
