U.S. RE names vice president/controller

Michael T. Marrone has been named vice president/controller at U.S. RE Cos. Inc., a financial services company based in Pearl River.

Marrone joined U.S. RE four years ago as controller after holding accounting and financial management jobs at Munich American Reinsurance Co., Beth Israel Medical Center, Country-Wide Insurance Company, Broadview Network Services and other companies.

Marrone, a Certified Public Accountant, holds an MBA in finance and a bachelorâ€™s degree in accounting from Long Island University.
