Seminar to offer tips to non-profit groups

A seminar called “How to Thrive when the Economy Doesn’t†will be Oct. 15 at Sam’s of Gedney Way in White Plains. The program is targeted at not-for-profit organizations concerned about the impact of the slowing economy on philanthropic support.
Speakers will be Sharon J. Danosky, president and founder of Danosky & Associates, a consulting firm in Sherman, Conn., and Sue Cole, partner in Cole Communications, a public relations firm in Bronxville. The workshop will be be held from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. at 50 Gedney Way. The cost is $55. Interested parties may register at www.danosky.com.
