Foss named chairman of Pepsi Bottling

Eric J. Foss, chief executive officer of Pepsi Bottling Group, will take on the added position of chairman of the board. As a result of that change, Barry H. Beracha, the company’s non-executive chairman since 2007, will resume his responsibilities as a director, according to the Somers-based company. Foss was named CEO in July 2006. He has worked more than 25 years in the Pepsi system, holding numerous positions in both the United States and overseas.
