IBM lands contract with Philippine Airlines

IBM Corp. of Armonk said that it has signed a contract to upgrade the technology infrastructure for Philippine Airlines, the country’s biggest carrier. The airline, which has flights to 31 foreign cities and 30 locations in its home country, will install IBM storage systems to improve its performance. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
