Local firms receive preservation award


Seaboard Weatherproofing and Restoration, a Port Chester-based restoration construction firm, and Walter Sedovic Architects, an Irvington-based architectural firm, were part of a project team that was a recipient of the 2008 National Preservation Award. The award recognized the team’s restoration work on the landmark Eldridge Street Synagogue and Museum in New York City.
