IRS looking to hire revenue officers

The Internal Revenue Service said that it is is looking to fill hundreds of openings nationally for revenue officers. That includes openings at IRS offices in New York City and White Plains. The job of revenue officers includes collecting delinquent taxes and delinquent tax returns.

Starting salary, which varies by geographic area based on the cost of living, ranges from $38,177 to $44,976. Applicants must apply by Friday.
