A Harrison-based company is adding new features to an Internet site that provides tools for parents to evaluate the high-tech products that touch their children.

The Online Mom LLC said that its expanded online site, www.theonlinemom.com, will include additional news analysis, product reviews, and guest blogs. The site focuses on the technology that children use routinely, including cell phones, the Internet and gaming systems.

“As our audience continues to grow, we are providing more choice and a greater opportunity for dialogue as parents search for how best to protect, guide and nurture their children in the digital age,” said Monica Vila, founder and president of The Online Mom LLC.

The company, seeking to build interest among the rapidly growing Hispanic audience, also announced a a content sharing partnership with AOL Latino for its new TecnoPadres web site (www.tecnopadres.com). TecnoPadres is a Spanish-language site for parents who want to understand and discuss technology as it relates to children and online safety.
