APS Healthcare, a White Plains-based specialty health care company, and Thomson Reuters, a business information company, will analyze the state’s Medicaid program under a contract with the New York State Department of Health.
Under the review, the companies will look at how Medicaid patients use medical services. The analysis will also study patterns of potentially unnecessary care. Results of the review will be used to help physicians and clinics improve their care.
