Accounting firms announce merger

Marks Paneth & Shron LLP, a Manhattan-based accounting firm with nearly 500 employees, said it has merged with Valhalla-based accounting firm Montalto CPA, LLC. The merger expands the combined firm’s tax, family office and business management services that are offered to small businesses and wealthy individuals in Westchester County, the northern suburbs and Connecticut.
