PepsiCo Inc., the Purchase-based beverage and snack food giant, is launching an Internet site designed to help restauants operate more efficiently. The site, GrowMyRestaurant.com, includes information on such restaurant topics as increasing traffic, boosting the average customer check and managing employees.

“Given today’s economic climate, we know operators are looking for innovative ways to drive traffic and increase sales,” Margery Schelling, chief marketing officer at PepsiCo Foodservice, said in a written statement. “That’s what makes something like GrowMyRestaurant.com more relevant than ever — a site dedicated to providing busy restaurant owners with all the tools they need to stay profitable and maintain loyal customers and employees.”
