The PepsiCo Inc. headquarters in Purchase has won the 2009 Landmark Award presented by the American Society of Landscape Architects and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
The award recognizes “a project’s design excellence, longevity and contribution to the public realm,” the groups said.
The headquarters, designed in 1970, features a blend of landscapes, sculptures, gardens and fountains “that sets the standard for corporate campus environments and continues to enhance the quality of employees’ attitudes, lifestyles and overall performance,” the groups said.
