IBM Corp. said that it has signed an $11.3 million contract extension to provide business process outsourcing services to Lam Research Corp., a supplier of semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment.

Under the seven-year agreement, Armonk-based IBM will continue to provide accounts payable, cash receipt applications, invoicing, payroll administration and other services to Lam Research, which is based in Fremont, Calif. The contract renews an original agreement signed in 2002.

In a separate contract, IBM will manage the technology infrastructure for Ferrosan A/S, an international consumer and healthcare company that has 800 employees in 70 countries. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
