Cappelli announces marketing partnership

June
1

Developer Louis R. Cappelli, whose luxury residential developments have reshaped the skylines and spurred downtown revitalization in White Plains and New Rochelle, is turning to a major real estate broker for help in finding buyers for the units.

Rand Development Marketing Group, a division of Better Homes and Gardens Rand Realty, will oversee sales and marketing for several of Cappelli’s high-profile developments in the region.

Those projects include The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Westchester, two 400-foot residential towers in downtown White Plains. The announcement of the marketing partnership corresponds with the formal opening of sales at the recently completed Tower II of that development that includes 170 luxury condominiums. More than 50 of the units were pre-sold to buyers who could not be accommodated in Tower I, which has sold out.

“We held back on the formal introduction of sales at Tower II until we felt the timing was right,” Cappelli said. “With the market now picking up, we have a unique opportunity to be able to present move-in ready homes at extremely favorable prices.”

Greg Rand, managing partner of Rand Development Marketing Group, said that the real estate market is showing signs of improvement after suffering through tough times during the past year.

“The market has started warming up along with the weather,” Rand said. “We’re seeing signs of an upturn, and we’ve positioned ourselves to take advantage of that. Working with Cappelli expands our horizons and our opportunities.”

Rand’s 25-year-old family-owned company, which has 20 offices across the region, will also handle sales and marketing for other Cappelli developments. Those include Trump Tower, a 35-story building with 212 luxury condominiums in White Plains; Trump Plaza, a 192-unit condominium tower in New Rochelle; and Trump Park Residences, a development of 141 two- and three- bedroom homes in Yorktown.
