She joined The Journal News staff in 2000 after making her living as a classical guitarist and music professor. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Spain, studied in a master class with Andrés Segovia, earned a doctorate in music from the University of Arizona and performed solo and chamber music on four continents. While teaching at Syracuse University, she wrote concert reviews for The Post-Standard and earned a master’s degree in journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Mount Kisco Medical Center bought by RREEF

RREEF, a global investment company based in San Francisco, announced yesterday that it has acquired Mount Kisco Medical Center. The 38,800 square-foot building is adjacent to Northern Westchester Hospital. It was previously owned by Tolchin Property Group. The price was not disclosed.

Fortistar LLC, based in White Plains, announced that it has acquired Minnesota Methane LLC and United Gasco LLC from TD Banknorth NA. Manpower: Westchester jobs to stagnate in 4Q
