PepsiCo Inc., the Purchase-based beverage giant, announced that it has purchased V Water, a vitamin water brand in the United Kingdom. V Water, launched in 2005, is sold in six flavors and includes several added vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Drew Industries Inc., a White Plains-based manufacturer of parts for recreational vehicles, is buying an manufacturer of RV furniture and products.

Drew’s wholly owned subsidiary, Lippert Components Inc., said that the purchase of Goshen, Indiana-based Seating Technology Inc. adds a new product line for Drew.

Bunge CEO receives $10.4 million

Total compensation rose 44 percent last year for Alberto Weisser, the chief executive officer of Bunge Ltd., the White Plains agri-business giant that benefited from a worldwide boom in agricultural commodities.

TJX to pay up to $24 million

Retailer TJX Companies Inc. agreed to pay up to $24 million to settle claims made by MasterCard issuers related to hackers breaching the retailer’s computer system in 2006.

Under the settlement, banks that issued MasterCard-branded cards can recover costs and losses they claimed to have incurred in connection with the breach, according to MasterCard.

Home foreclosure judgements soared 80 percent in Westchester County during the first quarter as local residents felt the fallout from a slowing economy and weakening housing market.

IBM lands credit-union contract
