The program will show businesspeople how to effectively search commercial databases, research trends that impact their industries, review magazines and trade journals, and use other library tools to grow business.<br />
The first workshop is Thursday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at Stark Business Solutions, 100 S. Bedford Road, Mount Kisco. The event will be hosted by Mount Kisco Library, which is closed for construction.<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Students from Iona College&#8217;s Hagan School of Business in New Rochelle are offering free tax help to the public on four Saturday mornings between now and April 15, starting this Saturday.<br />
Volunteers will be available for consultations between 9:30 a.m. and noon on March 7, March 14, March 28 and April 4. The service will be at the lower level Computer Lab of Hagan Hall at the college campus at 715 North Ave. It&#8217;s first-come, first-served, and walk-in only.<br />
Bring the following: last year&#8217;s tax returns; this year&#8217;s tax package and/or label; W-2 and 1099 forms; information on any other income; information on deductions or credits.  <br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[	<p>Students who graduate from Pace University can expect to earn roughly the same as those who graduate from Ivy League colleges, putting Pace among the top 50 colleges in the nation, a survey of salaries has shown.</p>

	<p>Pace graduates earn a starting median salary of $53,200, only a few thousand less than graduates of Yale University, according to a recent article in BusinessWeek.</p>

	<p>Yale was number one on the list with a starting median salary of $59,100. Other schools listed along with Pace include Dartmouth, Harvard, Princeton, Stanford and Columbia.</p>

	<p>The article listed a mid-career median salary of $89,700 and top incomes of $187,000 for Pace graduates. Pace has campuses in Pleasantville, White Plains and Manhattan.</p>

	<p>The BusinessWeek list was compiled from analysis on a report published by PayScale that lists Pace University as one of the &#226;&#8364;œ<a href="http://www.payscale.com/best-colleges/northeastern-colleges.asp" title="Best Northeaster Colleges in the U.S. by Salary Potential" target="_blank">Best Northeastern Colleges in the U.S. by Salary Potential</a>.&#226;&#8364;<br />
